It's amazing how thinly disguised the racism is.
As for his experience, look at the last 5 presidents. Senator Obama has more experience in an elected Federal office than all of them combined.
But rather than use the "N" word that is in their hearts, people say "Oh, he's inexperienced".
Sort of like "Some of my best friends are "N word"s...
As for Goldenrae9's answer above, I'm afraid that excluding the good Senator on the basis of his racially mixed background is very much in keeping with our national reputation.

You know the frightening thing is although we have come along way as Americans that America is still not quite rwdy for it.I belive that people find Obama interesting and believe the things he says but not as much as to elect him Commander-in-Chief.And I think that people are in denial when they say that race plays no role at all for Obama because it is very obvious(he already has the Secret Service working for him).

It is going further back than that. there replaced right into a action picture made around 1971 or 1972 pertaining to to the 1st black president. It starred James Earl Jones. there have been no meteor hits or terrorist assaults interior the action picture.

We are ready for a black president....but not Obama... The first black president will likely be a Republican...I know...I know...it hurts to hear...Simply put...Obama is a charming candidate...with NO DEPTH...and he seems to lean a little to close to fiscal socialism..... On the other hand...a main stream black man could take it.... Colin Powell I think...would have won if he wanted the job....I personally would vote for Condi Rice...In all my southern whiteness.....

Everyone thinks that he is good at rhetoric but there is no way he can become president. People look at blacks as source of entertainment---music, sports and rhetoric etc---but beyond that they don't care about others. I am from the north and I heard several racial slurs against black politicians, how much more does the southerners hate that idea of a black president. The women got the right to vote way before blacks did. As George Bernard Shaw said, history will repeat itself but people won't learn.

I certainly hope that Americans are not so shallow as to decide based upon a name and race. This is too important for that.

I think his bumbling comments are more likely to do him in than his race. Race really is a weak argument here. I think if he hadn't put his foot in his mouth a couple of times, it's VERY possible that Obama could have been the Democratic front-runner.

If there ever was a black person or a woman to win the Presidency it will be a Republican.
Democrats know this to be true that their party has an Achilles heal and that is the far-left.

He doesn't stand a chance with his race. But its because the people voting want some one like them. If more blacks voted then whites, then he'd definitely win.
