Truly a classic comedy skit show that will be missed.
It is a shame about all that "running out on the contract" business. I listened to Dave's own account of what happened and why he did it, but not even he sounded conviced of his own reasons.
I suspect that he did it because with a contract for the show he *HAD* to be funny *on purpose* instead of being able to just get up on stage and have fun.

Dave is a comic genius and he and the other writers on that show were one of the all time best comedy writing teams in the history of television. The skits were sometimes outrageous, often not for everyone, but always funny and unpredictable. His Great Moments in Black History with the first black man to take a dump in the white man toilet was something that no one expected. Another character, a black and blind white supremacist who doesn't know he's black, has become a classic.

It was good and getting better. I never saw the "lost episodes", but it sucks with what happened. Oddly, on the Chappelle show I enjoyed the skits the most, but on Mind of Mencia I enjoy Carlos' rants more.

It is by far one of the most talked about and quoted shows of our time. I don't know when, but I still have A feeling that we will, one day see him do another show like that.

even thought its repeated but that show is still funny!!...and the lost episodes were funny as well..i think he was before his time with his skits,it reminds me of a newer version of flip wilson show with the carol burnett show!!..but overall,he is a genuis,he is funnier than some of that other mess that comes on Comedy Central..

Dave Chappelle is the best comedian ever. He is way better than carlos mencia. with that stupid **** he does dee dee dee more duh duh dumbass.
