from centuries ago....Should we EVER expect any sort of peace in the Middle East? Will Persians and Muslims ever live in harmony? Will Israelis and Palestinians ever walk side by side? WILL THE MIDDLE EAST ALWAYS BE DIVIDED BY RELIGION? AND IF SO, WHAT CAN BE DONE DIPLOMATICALLY to restore this world to a peaceful state?

The middle east is an important cross roads there are many cultures interacting in a small area. Knowing the Human Animal it is unlikely that such an area will ever have lasting peace. Children on both sides of the Israeli/Palestinian fight are taught horrible things about the other side. Along with that they see some pretty horrible things when an Israeli war Jet drops bombs, or when a Palestinian blows up in their midst. Without Religion we would still fight as we look different. Maybe if we could breed all of humanity into one grey race and erase religion.

No just like racist would find a thing to discriminate against if there were no black, white, yellow and red. these people will find a reason to fight. it seems to be in their blood.
If you want to read a good fiction book about israel and palistine reaching peace and how it gets ruined read nelson demile by the rivers of babyalon (spelled wrong)

The problem is on all sides.
The children have to be taught from a very young age to respect everyone.
The problem with many people who hate other groups; they pass their veiws onto their children who grow up only to repeat the process.
Children have to be taught to respect people who are different from them.
They have to be taught to learn about people who are different so they will not be afraid and suspicious of them
This can be applied to any conflict with sucess.

The only thing that will make the Arabs happy is the Israelis "giving back" all of their land and leaving. That aint never going to happen!
