Strange that you give us so much personal information and ask your question in the Books and Authors section too. "Traditionally built woman"? What is that? Do women come with extra arms and legs now? This I have to see. Get over others eating things you can't. Life isn't fair. If you can't turn down a doughnut, then you have no willpower.

I don't have a man, but my dad tries to keep me in line on dietary stuff. If I eat something that he thinks is fattening and he sees me eat it, he says that I might as well glue it to my thighs, since it'll end up there anyway. I try to stay slim and to keep off the weight I've lost. He doesn't really care about caffeine, though. He can't keep me from guzzling it down!

He actually wants me to eat more. He wasn't too thrilled when my weight started drifting below 250 again. He doesn't want me to be skinny, and BEGGED, once I got to 203 pounds, not to lose any more weight, because he doesn't want to hug himself when he wraps his big strong arms around me in an embrace.
Caffeine? He's right. I do injest a bit too much of that. That's why this answer contains run on sentences and a bit more information than you asked for but I really don't care.

My man does most of the cooking in our house so it's usually good stick to your ribs food. He's never once told me not to eat anything. And we are both caffeine junkies so we drink as much coffee as a small battallion of soldiers lol.

He never says anything about what I eat but he does fuss at me about the caffeine in my Coke and insists I should give it up. I have toned it down for him but I haven't stopped entirely.

I eat & drink what i want when I want. The only time my husband points out that I am having too much caffeine is when it is getting late at night, and he knows that I can't sleep otherwise.

If anything, the men in my life have tried to get me to eat more foods that are less-than-healthy. I'm not big on grease. I limit my own caffeine for health reasons.

Oh, my man...he brings home rich desserts and candy bars and fountain sodas...

One time I told his son I hoped his Dad liked fat women...

So now all I get is Captain Morgan's....

As far as caffeine goes, the coffee pot is in our room, and I make the coffee every night before we go to bed. Rarely do we leave any of those 10 cups sitting.

Quit making life so hard.

I gotta say, when his daughter went in the hospital he did Insist her mother show up. (He was already there.) Every time one of the kids has a crisis he has to Insist she function as the mom.

I was visiting his daughter one time when she spent a week in the hospital. Don't you know that doctor came in and introduced himself and told me how happy he was to see me? He thought I was her mom....where was her mom? Who knows.

And yes, I was wearing pants.

He doesn't usually say anything about what I eat but he does nag about the amount of caffeine.

It is me that puts him on a diet...and I have to limit his caffeine intake--if not it is coffee all morning and sodas for the rest----men need more looking after there than women--sorry
