Alpine aftermarket CD players are compatible with the steering wheel radio controls. However, like the above person mentioned any will (possibly) work because you can purchase the adapter to allow them to work. It is around that price and is very difficult to install. There is alot of cutting/splicing/soldering involved.

Actually any major brand deck should work. But thats not all, you need a special adapter that will make it work. cartoys was gonna charge me 150 extra to put it in so i didn't get it. the module is any where from 60 to 100 bucks and very difficult to install. unless you are very good with electronics i would not suggest doing it yourself since any mistake will screw up your entire ecu. if you want to buy it try zzperformance.com. good luck

I just bought a 2000 GP GT, I was told that the part to hook sw control to the stereo will cost 75.00 plus the cost to hook up the stereo is another 50 - 100 $
Check a junk yard that's what I am going to do.

Well I havent had any luck with my Jeep but you just have to ask around. Try Best Buy........ But normally they dont have anything and it sucks
