My sec cousin shows more love than my mom why?

My mom can be so distant with me when I am down and sad. or moody. keep in mind att he party i was very moody

at the party i seemed down/sad and it looked my sec. cousin might of wanted to cheer me up (hugging, telling me to stay at a certain spot0 but my other cousins didnt give a crap (their older than him, theyre 30, 26, and 30)but my mom didnt care and critized me very meanly and i cried. why?
keep in note her own mom kinda abadoned her and her grandma (rip) was left to take care of her.
my dad was not present at the party

Honey if your family was having a party it probably annoyed your mom that you was being moody and sad. It wasn't really the right place and time to try to get sympathy, your mom was probably busy. Did you have a reason to be upset? Do you feel sad and down often? Are you needing attention?

You may need to see a counselor, your mom probably doesn't know how to handle your moodiness. Your mom shouldn't have criticized you and she should have just asked you what was wrong.

Good that your cousin was able to lend you some support.

Try to get to the bottom of your problems of why you are sad and moody..
