Husband wont shower!?

Question

My husband works outside all day and comes home and does not shower because he showers in the morning. I find it so disgusting that he is in our bed dirty, it is really affecting our 18 year marriage. What should I do?

Just tell him nope......if you can't shower before getting into bed with me your not getting into bed with me at all. Tell him that the bottom line here is that you STINK and it repulses me to even think about having sex with you and it's ruining our intimacy. Or the biggest statement you could make about it to him would be to buy some Limberger Cheese and rub it on yourself before bed. If he doesn't like the way you smell and refuses to be intimate with you then tell him this is what it is like for you everysingle night. Wear this every night untill he gets the message. Why not shower together with him or offer to give him a bath. You are married after all, so what is stopping you there?
Ok, so he showers once in the morning, do you know why? Go sleep elsewhere if you find it disgusting to sleep in the same bed with him. He will wonder why and when he asks, you tell him. He will start showering again.

When I was married, my husband would come home stinking really bad and did not want to take a shower at night time because he took one in the morning.
Well, after serveral conversations with him about this using several approaches, I finally kicked him out of the room and told him that he can sleep in our bed again when he has taken a blasted shower! If I recall correctly, it only took the half of the first night for him to go in and take a shower. I guess he realized that I was serious and was not backing down on this one.

Try to be nice about it maybe offer to jump in the shower with him. Make it your special time alone and get in the habit of it. You guys could wash each other and make it an intimate time. If that does not work tell him flat out that he needs to or else you two will not be sharing a bed anymore. Good Luck!

Be thankful he showers at least once a day. My Dad will only shower once, maybe twice a week. It gets my Mom so upset. He throws on lots of cologne thinking that will do the trick.

Wish I knew what to tell you to do. My Mom and I haven't figured out the secret yet.

You would be surprised how many men don't shower but once a week my Father for one.Every Sunday night he would take a bath and let me tell you that bath tub had a ring around it that took two scrubs to get the ring out. Men in different countries don't shower or use deodorant.Tell him no nookie until he s h i t s, s h o w e r s, a n d, s h a v e s, the three s's.

Offer to take a shower WITH him...
I'm sure he's really tired from working all day...he may be giving you a hint that he'll need help in the shower getting wiped down =)

Girl i agree with u all the way! I would feel the same way if i was u! Talk with him tell him how u feel! Tell him scince he works outside all day he should freshen his body! And taht u should stil shower in the morning but he also should shower when he gets back from work!

im sure you have talked to him about it and he is being a butt. i would start sleeping on the couch and tell him untill he starts taking a shower after work im not sleeping with you. just stick to your guns. im sure he will start to shower. guys are brain damage. it takes em forever to get things right.

PS. MAYBE BRIBING HIM LIKE A LITTLE KID MIGHT WORK. SAY YOU WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR HIM IF HE DOES OR GIVE HIM A 5-10 MIN MASSAGE EACH TIME THEN AFTER A FEW WEEKS HE WILL ALREADY BE IN THE HABBIT OF IT THEN YOU CAN MAKE ACCUSSES FOR NOT GIVING HIM GOODIES ;)

tell him the truth, and dont give him any unless he does shower, if he says hes to tired for a shower than tell him he can take a bath...at least this way he can sit down! tell him he makes the sheets smell bad too!
