He was elected - most likely yes. If he proves to be an Islamacist, the protectors of the Turkish revolution (the military) will depose him and someone better will be elected later.

Definitely not, Turkey is a very modern country indeed and an Islamist president would be very wrong for Turkey. I especially think his wife with her turban is a very wrong image whihch does not even slightly reflect the modern Turkish women.
