Can't remember exactly. Think it was about 2 years ago. I was staying at my Nan's and at 2am in the morning the door bell rang. Though it was very strange at that time. Went and had a looked. Turned on the light and said "who is it?" and bloke outside said "I need to to call the police, I have been punched in the mouth by my brother". I didn't know what to do for a few seconds. Told him couldn't let him in and that I would go get my mobile and call the Police. I called them and they asked my name and his name and I shouted through the door to ask him etc. The Police said they were on their way, then we just waited. I told him couldn't let him in as he could be anyone but I asked if he wanted me to stay by the door and he said "yes". I asked him what had happened he said him and his brother had some argument and his brother punched him. I think he said it was his step brother but not sure. I remember him telling me his brother took drugs. The Police took a while to get there. I passed some tissue through the letter box for his mouth as well. The Police arrived after a while and I went out and stood there watching. The bloke was talking to them and one Police man came over and said something like "thanks you can go inside now." It was a weird experience. I also woke my brother who stood behind the corner of the hallway listening and keeping an eye on things.

Actually thinking about it they stop me last year when I was driving to tell me my exhaust was making a strange noise.

Also few months ago some strange men took my old car away and didn't leave their details or anthing for me to fill in my car documents. Didn't know much about getting rid of a car but reported it to the Police.

Well - I can cheat and say that I spoke with an officer today - as my exhusband is one.

But in answer to your question - about four weeks ago when a detective came to the house looking for my son and his friends who had evidentally been pulling teenage stunts and stealing street signs (boy am I glad that he had went to live with his dads before that day). I let his dad handle it.

I almost got knocked over by one this morning. I walked around a street corner and he was looking the other way and smashed right into me. He was about 6 ft 6. I didn't say anything in the end, because I didn't want to be arrested. But a few colourful words, associated with "look where the **** you're going, you stupid ******** came to mind at the time.

Oh lordie, is it hot in here? Yesterday I was having lunch with friends and a great big, juicy motorcycle cop came into the restaurant. On the way out I told him I loved his boots and inquired as to where a civilian might purchase a pair. I am shameless.

About 3 weeks ago, when the nice deputy wrote me a ticket for speeding.

I was.

He was polite, professional and courteous, and I made sure to call his district supervisor and let her know. I figure I'd have complained if he had been rude, arrogant or condescending, so the least I could do is compliment him for his professionalism.

I didn't like the ticket (*owie*), but I deserved it.

For five minutes, the guy kept asking whether i wanted to go to hospital for small cut. I kept reassuring him that i was fine. All he could do is stare constaly at it.

Yesterday. My son was going to take his driving test to get his license and a police officer, who looked to be the friend of the person to test my son's driving, told my son that he would be testing him. (Smile). My son would have complied with the police officer, but of course he was teasing my son. HEE HEE! I thought it was kind of a funny joke and later my son told me what was going through his head. "OH, Darn" weren't the exact words he used to describe how he felt about driving with a police officer. He would have done it if he had to.

I think my neighbor called 911 and they came and rung the bell and no one answered. I was on my door step so the cops asked if I heard anything weird coming from next door.
