If you scroll down to where the supreme court cases are.. you will see supreme court rulling that claims that the 16th didnt give any new taxing authority, but allowes the taxes to be unapportioned.
Other supreme court cases have claimed that labor is an even exhcange of property and is NOT INCOME. If i give my life to you, in exachange for wages, I am not gaining anything, since I am loosing my life and freedoms.

Yes it is!!! I really think we need some help from the mass media who by the way are just find with it. So for now the internet will have to do for the people to educate themselves. There is talk of a second internet to replace the existing one. And quess what boys and girls Homeland security would regulate its content to protect us from the bad guys!!!! China already does this to their people!!!!

We are fascist , becoming more so a police state.
I think its an open question if America can be saved and at what cost. All the componants are there. We just don't know when or if the trap will be sprung. I think it can go either way. A president who does not respect the rule of law and a politicized Justice dept is not a good scenereo to start out with. Remember Bush's grandfather was an ardent admirer and business partner with the Third Riech. That is where the family fortune came from.
Prescot was also involved in a 1933 fascist coup plot amied at overthrowing the government and FDR.
Google USMC General Smedley Butler. Some of the details are connected to him. He blew the whistle on it before the Senate. - I digress, I think in a way Bush is trying to achieve what his grandfather failed to accomplish.

a government with a centralized dictatorship, stringent socioeconomic controls under guise of "Nationalism."
Well, if we don't already have it, we are knocking at the door. Learned the other day, Scott paper company firing
employees because they smoke (cigarettes) No doubt they are self-insured and in Mass. talking about restrictions (less money) because of being overweight.
Sounds like another big self-insured company. When
are we going to start putting the "Autistic" out of their misery or the mentally-ill? What are the our citizens going to sacrifice next for "BIG BUSINESS" Where is the line drawn,"when it happens to you?"

I would say that it pretty much already is, but not in a blatantly obvious way, like in Nazi Germany. They have to be more subtle, because they want the majority to remain unaware of what is really going on. They know that if they make it too obvious, the people would be up in arms. So, they have to make the changes appear gradual.
Is there still time to save it! Yes, I believe so, but it would require enough people waking up, in time. This is the reason that there is a large number of people trying in whatever ways they can, to increase awareness. But, thanks to the likes of Fox News, and other similar venues, the movement is having to deal with a whole lot of obstinate, willful ignorance. However, more and more people are waking up every day, so I believe that their is still hope! *sm*

Funny video. However, it seems the forty-two states did ratify the 16th Amendment, more than enough needed.
Before people "educate" themselves with InterNet videos, please read the Constitution; all of the Constitution, not just certain parts.

If you get a chance, read "The Power Elite" by C. Wright Mills. He wrote that in the early 1960s and pretty much comes up with the same conclusions.

There's still time to save it. To say the country is already "fascist" is extremist, and a little dismissive toward people who suffered through REAL fascism in the 40's. That doesn't mean we don't need constant vigilance to keep from getting any closer!

Of course it is, it has been since Ronald Reagan took office in 1980. All we can do is vote and hope for the best I guess. If the citizens want freedom and democracy, that's what they will vote for, if they want oppression and fascism, that is what they will vote for. But one thing is for sure, this fascism thing is not working out.

It's about as close as it's ever come to being a fascists country. The US Govt. has gotten so big & has so much power you get one or two more radicals from the left or the right as President & it might just become a fascists state.
