It's all about money! Businesses here by cheap and sell high to the consumer. NO, the company's aren't loosing any money. They can just right it off on taxes. Can we do the same? Of course not. We take it in the......

Now with all that's going on (recalls) who are the one's who suffer? We all know the answer to that. Yet these company's continue to import products to sell to us until there is another recall.

When are we every going to learn. Who's stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility for all of this crap. All I hear are excuses and passing the buck to someone else.

Guess we'll have to handle it ourselves once again. We'll have to think about our purchases until changes are made. I wouldn't hold your breath on any changes any time soon.

Be careful out there. Don't turn your back.

They claim it is so much cheaper to do business there but in the long run, it is going to cost them money. It would be nice to keep these company' s here in the US, which would create more jobs, improve the economy, put food on the table, but I forget, these companys pay big bucks for analysts that have it all figured out, yeah right. Soon , we will see Mattel filing chapter 13.lol Then start again. The American way.lol

Hiking up our minimum wage makes it tough for companies to stay financially competitive. So they take their production to overseas countries who pay low wages and have low costs, and China is at the top of the list. And there's a reason why they're so cheap! As soon as they have to start spending money to fix their flaws and adhere to their new regulations, then they'll have to start charging more somewhere down the line.

It's all about money. American business will put up with anything, including inferior products from China, as long as they can make money. I am sure that in their contracts with Chinese Company's they have clauses which protects them from being liable for poor merchandise.

Let's wait and see if it causes enough turmoil inside their companies to prompt them to return to the U.S. and then we'll know.
