I wouldn't call it an art...

I like to think that I have an eye for those who shine a bit brighter...and I can't help but complain that their illumination obscures my view...

Why would you do a thing like that?

You want him/her to be miserable so that they feel that they can't live without you.

I know that sounds evil, but; the whole concept of being a couple is that being together is better than being alone.

If that means making him/her desperate for your company then have at it.

A lot of people take for granted all it took to get into a relationship, and when that happens; the relationship falls apart. This is just one way to remind somebody that they mean more to you than your freedom and you expect the same from them.

Difficult when she has allot of self hate issues to deal with. But I work hard at making her know she is an amazing person, whether she thinks so or not. It's a work in progress.

No, she has some self-esteem issues that are tough to overcome. I'm trying to help as best I can, but they seem to be a part of her makeup.
