There are medical theories and such that try to understand biologically what causes death and what can be done to counteract it. Given the current state of technology and medicine, no, it is not possible.
To prevent death (or significantly prolong life) would require medical technology that we've not yet achieved. We'd need to find a way to attack a lot of issues... including but not limited to the death of cells and the degradation of vital functions. You'd need advanced medicines, machines, and even the the theoretical cell-repairing nanotechnology that some researchers are looking into. Those points require a plethora of other more complicated points which must be addressed to make them possible. We have none of that. Some day we likely will, but given the magnitude of these technological achievements it's nothing that will happen in the near future and even when it is achieved, it's not to say that you will be able to live forever.
We are still a very, very young species and have much to learn about our own biology and the universe around us. :)

Probably not, due to the 2nd law of thermodynamics, which states that entropy never decreases in a closed system. The amount of free energy available for civilisation is limited, and will eventually run out. When this happens, life is no longer possible. Currently we are getting energy from the sun, from fossil fuels, and from nuclear energy. The most important of these is the sun, which is estimated to last a few billion years longer.

Id have to say in the lifespan of the species of the many many many millions of humans that have died, not one has lasted we all die.Its in our genetic makeup,it was god or nature or whatever you want to call it that insured we would die as do all things , from a pure level of survival if mans lifespan was say 1000yrs we would have overpopulated long ago in a sense on the scale of the earth we are like roaches.Ugly way to put it but true, we already encroach on most of the planet.times the amount of people in the world right now and multiply 12 and if we lived to be 1000, we would have 12 more people for every 1 person here now.nope cant live forever.Besides it would get boring.

Nope, it isn't possible, but the bible does point out one man who was told to walk the earth forever by God after killing his brother, Abel! God also gave a mark to Cain telling him that if anyone killed him they would receive a punishment sevenfold. So, does that mean if god took away Cain's life naturally, god would receive a punishment sevenfold? This confuses me!
Actually, science may eventually come to a point, where genetics will be solved and they theoretically could keep you alive forever by tampering with genetics, although that is probably thousands of years away! Thanks, hope you like my answer!

In theory yes. If technology reaches such heights as to be able to manipulate our genes to allow for regeneration of our cells and the removal of aging process built into our physiology.
Its probably not desirable. It would mean denying future generations a place on the earth -- there is no room for you and your descendants on the same planet -- one generation must die to make room for the next.
And of course the earth itself is not immortal! It too will die eventually. And the biosphere will probably disappear long before the world is swallowed by a nova sun.

It is happening study greek mythology cupid and eros...being immortal while living in the mortal world...science has a pill that can extend life but it can only be sustained in short periods of time...it's a regenerative pill...it will be expensive and many will buy it...especially the blind wealthy....pure deception....mark of the beast...we are already immortal in our true forms as you were taught spirits...it's like the bird brains who assume or think they have deciphered the ancient hieroglyphics....the fools don't understand Universal Law operates in perfect order it doesn't assume and it shares with all of its creation....you want immortality then believe in these words seek the CHRIST within
