We have these damned fire walls in Iraq that b lock chat programs and I would like to know if there is any way to configure the proxy settings on programs such as GoogleTalk, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, etc... that would allow the program to sign in. I've tried a ton of proxy sites and none have worked.

If you can give me the proxy and port number and any authentication required, if necessary (username, password) and it works then you will have 10 points guaranteed!!!

Thanks for your time!

For connection oriented programs (like chat) your only option is to use a SOCKS4 or SOCKS5 proxy server. There are plenty of them out there. Good luck.

I'll just take the two points. Thanks anyway.
