Where do I find a book on bugs in Stockton, CA?

I have seen bugs here in Stockton, CA that I have never seen before - I would love a book to look up these interesting bugs I have seen.. Thank You.. They do not have the same bugs in San Francisco as they do here..

How about the Library. That's a building full of books that you can borrow.

Well, you did ask where you could find a book. Sorry for being so cheeky. Okay, how about visiting the Entomology department of your local University if there is one. Another option is to post a picture of the bug in question here in Answers and someone here will probably be able to identify it. Or, even a really detailed description. Despite the fact that I was a little bit of a Smart A** earlier, I'm pretty good at finding bugs and plants for people.
