I like both genders and am fed up of being told to choose between the two. I am rarely intimate but I can enjoy being intimate with other humans regardless of gender. What is it with these people who claim to accept gay people but reject the whole concept of bisexuality?

Christian: I am not promiscuous. I'm not advocating swinging from male to female partners but to be told you are a living a lie is hurtful. I am not purely attracted to only one gender so why pretend otherwise?

For the record Christian, I wouldn't have given you a thumbs down. You make a valid point that being promiscuous is a risky business. The woman below you though is vile and hateful and I hope she gets what she deserves.

Spike. Actually, YES, that is the way I started out. It's only later I realised that my behaviour was selfish and made an effort to stop merely satisfying my short-term needs at the expense of others.

For all those of you who gave a properly thought - through answer, I thank you. Some of your criticisms are justified in my book and NO, I wasn't looking just for people to agree with me. Within myself, I know that I stand poised to cause a lot of people a lot of hurt if I don't act responsibly. Today, I feel that the safest option would be to have a male companion chiefly for affection - though that involves searching far and wide amongst those men whose primary interest is intercourse. The difficulty arises when I disassociate myself from gay people because I do not share their interest in gay sex (at least not "all the way" ) and become influenced by the urge to 'do the right thing' and become a loving husband and father like my own father and his father before him. To enjoy flirtation with both genders but be unable to give either what they desire feels quite frustrating sometimes but I live in hope that someday a kindred spirit will emerge and be my companion. Enjoy your day. x

Thank you Crapsake, Doug and even GG for your responses. There was a time when all sex seemed "nasty" to me GG, but since then I grew up...

The Goddess: I just read your answer in a bit less of a hurry this time and you make a valid point that porn misleads people so that everyone using it thereafter regards anyone with a sexual appetite as a ****. I've used porn so I accept my share of the blame - what porn ought to be is simple erotic pictures of people with their kit off. Now it's all gone hardcore and is truly vile and disgusting. The point at which it goes from erotic to hardcore is where it taints our humanity by making us contemptuous of one another. I'll keep the erotica but if you're campaigning to rid the world of hardcore porn, I'm right there with you - it is sick and degrading everyone involved in it.

If you want an HONEST answer and not an answer to suit your OWN beliefs, then here it is:
First of all:
1) Bi-sexual people seem more promiscious! My friends who are bisexual, they always are like, "ooh i wanna get that girl!" then five minutes later, "that guy is sooo fine!"..Every person they see, they want to bang up or get banged by! How much screwing do you want!?
2) PORNO! Lesbianism =****-ism thanks to it! On playboy channels, how many girls do you see screwing each other..and then they send THOSE girls to go sleep with FIVE guys!! Also, gay male pornos..always broadcast themselves as "LOVING TO GIVE HEAD" and ready to swallow sperm and get rammed in the *** anytime YOU want it! seriously!! And that shows pure sexual feinds..than actual REAL relationships and REAL love. And that is the only thing people who are straight knows about the gay community..even tho it may not be true!
3) FAKE-GAYS!! I mean those GIRLS who try to impress guys by kissing each other! I mean ..how slutty is that!? Then when they get his attention, they sleep with him..and JUST FOR FUN..that girl she was kissing may come along!
So seriously, that's all that is broadcasted to the world on the gay community, but all of it may not be true! but when you think of bisexuals..you think of THREESOMES..FOURSOMES..greedy people who just want pleasure and nothing with substance! Bisexuals seem like people who JUST want to have FUN..thanx to those fake-gays, those pornos, and the fact that some want to or do FUKC EVERYONE they see!! People feel like, "come on, they're has to be a limit..cuz you're just being greedy now!"
Don't be bias against my answer..you asked for the TRUTH..well there it was!

My answer may not be what you want to hear but I am going to tell you the truth from a heterosexual point of view. I have never had a problem with people being gay. I think that if you are happy with someone of your sex, then that is what you should do. But when you are with men and women people think that you should choose which one you like. It's as if you don't really know what you want. You want your cake and eat it too. Also it's the whole thing with the 'down low' . A lot of people are getting HIV and transmitting it to their wives because they don't know they like men. It forms a huge stigma. As long as you are honest with your partner I guess it shouldn't matter.

I've never considered bisexuals to be greedy. But reading your question. I did feel that there is some truth, in the fact that bisexuals seem to have more of a larger scale to operate on. Therefore hetro/homosexuals only seems to have a limited choice. But that's properly jealousy. I don't think you need to choose one sexuality over the other.

Personally I'm 100% heterosexual. In fact, I can't imagine what can turn a girl on about a guy's body. But if you're a bisexual, everyone is a potential partner. The field expands by 50%. Sounds like a good thing, if it's the way you happen to roll.

people have a problem when it comes to two man and a woman going to bed, but when it is a two wimen and one man then they are ok with it.
it all boils down to males being manly and the thoughts of two man touching each other is hard to except for some people, so will come out with joking remarks like greedy

I don't disagree with you. But from what I've heard from most people I know, they feel as though bisexuals can't make up their minds, so they're 'testing the waters.' Many people refer to it as an in-between stage, or a crazy college thing.
It's no one else's business who you like to sleep with. Do what you do.

Hi there Tobermory, Alot of people tend to define bisexuality as being 'greedy,' it is a gross misconception and a generalised stereotype from people who do not know or understand what it is to be bisexual. I would not let it bother you! 'The people that matter don't mind, and the people that mind don't matter.'
All the best! :o)

I do not agree with gays, their lifestyle and their desire to marry as if they're heterosexual. Having said that I think bisexuals are worse than "gays"! They exploit sex with both sexes. Heterosexuals are in accord with what's right, from what I understand about gays it's usually a painful reality many claim they did not choose but the sexually insatiable bisexual is the absolute worst. I see these type of people eventually justifying sex with animals.
