It was something like "They say that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Anybody have a clue? Please help!

It's a quote from Lord Acton, a famous British historian. I'm sure it's been in a ton of movies.

It's from a scene when he is a kid.. he's watching a show on TV when he says something about Jesus.. and his mother gets mad.. he says "but Jesus died for our sins" and she said.. "So did Hitler" then she goes on about how Absolute power corrupts.. (this is paraphrased, because it's partially in German)
