i have a roof- that does not leak but looks terrible- there was a new addittion put on the house a few years ago (before i purchased it) and when the roof was put on - it does not match the old roof by shingle type- or by the level of it, the old roof is higher. very poor quality.! im wondering if anyone ran across this problem and if it can be fixed rather then redoing the whole roof?? the house is in albany area ny, anyone have experience with how much this will cost??if there are any contractors willing to quote it -i have a picture availble. email me at mbhoakct76@yahoo.com for a photo.

If it's just esthetics that concerns you, you've got a problem.
Even if you just replace one roof with shingles to match the other, they will never quite match due to the difference in weathering.
