It can be equal, or the woman could fall more in love, or the man could. It depends on the individual people and their experiences with intimacy, trust, and love. Then there's the question: is it real love, or is it lust? or an infatuation? I think a lot of women and men both have the bad habit of thinking they're in love when it's really just lust or an infatuation.
But if it's real, true, shared love, the man and woman should be in it equally together.

No, they both fall just as hard, it's just that generally speaking the two genders look for different things out of the relationship, so depending on the circumstances one person in the couple might seem to get more fulfillment from it than the other. That, and every individual has his or her own needs, and that changes the dynamic as well.

I think men fall faster based on superficial reasons. Some men may fall harder... I think it depends on the man or woman.

This isn't a gender specific thing, it is a type of person thing - any person, regardless if male or female, if they live their lives with their hearts on their sleeves, they may tend to fall harder than someone who is more practical and realistic about emotions & feelings. Past dating history and how they were raised plays a huge factor too.

You are partially wrong.... It has more to do with personality then gender. Yes ladies, there are sensitive guys out there!!! I should know, I'm one. I fell hard and I fell quick for my ex wife. There was a list of things a mile long that she did to me that I should have left her for, and despite everything, I stayed by her side for 13 years. Then one day she woke up and decided she wasn't happy and left me and our 3 boys anyway. I was a complete and total wreck for almost 6 months... and hell, I still love her. I have a friend and she is ironicly going through the same thing, but gender reversed....

There is no gender bias regarding this issue. There is always that special someone that made either gender fall hard at some point in their lives to the point of blindness. Love is bliss.
