school. I am attending a expensive private school this far, and hae taken out 14,000 inloans already. I still have 3 years left. I am nervous if I fail out my life will be ruined. I want it but sometimes I dont have a lot of confidence, and this is my worst enemy. I hear stories about people failing out. Any R.N.s advise for someone who was always an average student not great at math.

Nursing school is HARD!! I'm not going to sugar-coat that! It was the hardest thing I have gone through. I had to push myself everyday. But, honestly, if it is something that you love and really want to do - you will get through it. I cried lots during school!! I freaked out over stupid papers and tests, but I'm still alive. Just know that you are really going to need to apply yourself. Work hard, find a group of people to study with, and help each other along the way. Math is a minimal part of nursing. You will ALWAYS ALWAYS have a calculator in real life, so don't let the math scare you. STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!! Ask questions, seek out learning experiences. Good luck!! :)
