If you are in a situation where, the future of your family is at stake and you can practically save them, but the cost is leaving behind everything and everyone you cared for so much, to the point of never going back there ever again. When it's all said and done, you're left with nothing and you'll be unhappy for pretty much the rest of your life, but your family's future is secured and set. To refuse simply means you, and your family, will hit rock bottom. To do it, they're safe, but you're the one hitting that rock bottom.

It's a very difficult decision, so I'm asking for a really good advice on the matter.

Are you talking about human beings vs. material stuff?

I am suprised you even need to ask.

Otherwise, you are being way too ambiguous for such a serious matter.

I "gave up" 7 months of my life to take care of some family members. And I would do it all over again. However, I could never leave them or give up my family so i would say we would hit rock bottom together. At least we would be together.

Now if I could hit rock bottom and still be with my family, than yes, I would give up everything for my nieces/nephews.

I would do whatever I had to, to keep my family safe, even if that means leaving them and being unhappy without them. I have a wonderful family and I love them all dearly, but I would not ever choose my happiness over their safety.
