Health care. The richest country in the word has the most embarrassing health care system.

Taxes. 7% flat tax for all companies and individuals/families. It is WAY past time that big business and the wealthy pay it's share in America. And that would be 7% on the gross earnings. No write offs, no excemptions.

Education. Time we learn where Europe is and how to add and subtract.

National Service. EVERY American would serve two years. Not just the military, national parks, habitat for humanity, etc. Time we give back to the greatest nation in the world instead of sitting back and saying "gimmie"

Great question by the way. Too bad only 5 people saw fit to answer...............

Healthcare and education would be top priority for me, I believe education is a basic need and I also believe that knowledge isn't power unless it is shared. Holistic not for profit healthcare would be my main goal.

Next on my list would be the agriculture, it's important that people know what they're putting in their mouth, what they're feeding their children and so on. So I would let farmers do their job on a local level, in rural areas, instead of contributing to their bankrupcy.

Third on my list would be affordable, comfortable homes for everyone.

Fourth: the environment, I would encourage people to walk/take public transportation (low prices)/ or take the bike instead of their cars. And week ends would be carLESS days.

And last but not least: I would try to get rid of the current democratic system, where you have a couple of parties running against each other, and promote a better democratic system where not just parties but also people could take part, more actively. And people wouldn't have to choose between two people but rather they could appoint people from different parties for a specific job. I'd also advocate diplomacy instead of war.

We have a big problem with balancing the budget. we are a whopping 9 Trillion dollars in debt. This is an emergency. Social Security is a hugh problem because they are more people retiring than working(almost there) It's outdated and something has to be done. We have a hugh infrastructure problem in our country with no money to update it. That's more than enough for now.
