Practice making strong agressive tackles with a takling bag or something, also work on you covering techniques. Saftey are known for making huge jaw dropping hits and covering wide recievers

Just practice your form tackling.. Make sure you stay low all the time, when your about to make a head on tackle make sure your close enough to smell the guys breath then explode up into him jamming both of your arms into his armpits, then grap on to his jersey and drive with your feet don't let your feet stop moving. Work out, do squats and other stuff to get your legs stronger. Just stay low explode and keep your feet moving.

Unless you're very strong at the point of attack you shouldn't go tit-to-tit when you tackle. You should be trying to get low (hip level) and wrap up there. Keep those legs driving man, that's where that power comes from.

I'm a cornerback but its close enough. to improve our head to head tackling our coach got 2 players, gave one the ball, put us 10 yards apart, and when he said go, we ran full speed at eachother and if you made the other guy fumble he had to run and if you get ran over, you get laughed at and have to run. you'll improve pretty quick trust me
