what is San Diego State like?...i plan on attending that college next year...i want to know if its big with lots of girls! lolz....

I lived in Ocean Beach for years while going to State and NEVER, NEVER made it from school to beach in 10 minutes (and OB is the closest beach)....
Heck, it'll take you ten or twenty minutes just to walk from your class to your car, as parking is notoriously bad...for decades, parking permits are known as "hunting licenses".
But don't let any of that make any difference to you. On average it was about a twenty five minute drive to the beach from campus.
Lots of cute girls? Check! Big campus? Check. They offer just about every undergraduate major you can imagine, which if you're like me, you will change many, many times. Very few people graduate in four years; most work jobs off campus. If you are from out of town you are likely to live in dorm the first year and be off campus with roommates for subsequent years.
If you don't have a car it will be a little more challenging to get around. Recently they opened up a trolly stop right at campus, which makes it possible to live all kinds of places with easy transport to campus.
Unless you are weird, you will love it here. I did. Stayed five years for my BA and another two for my masters.
As another poster put it, your major problem is going to be not to be too distracted by all the fun distractions... so remember you do have to study.
Fun fact: SDSU was recently named the number one small research campus in the country. So not only do students party hard, they work hard too...and so do their profs.

SDSU is inland from the beach any where from 10 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. The campus sits on a hill by the freeway and is quite beautiful. The college is known as a party school and their sports teams are always competitive. Academically the school is respected. Proximity to Mexico and the Beach provide plenty of opportunity to meet great girls and they want to meet you too! Two of the hottest cuties that I know go there, Unfortunately they are the daughters of my friends! They seem to be having a good time so give it a shot. You'll love it! Don't let the extras make you flunk out. You have to stay in school to have the fun!

it really nice! the campus is beautiful. and plus the beach is like 10 minutes away!
