To me, it is somewhat akin to asking an obese person "How much do you weigh?" I'm 6'7", and I am asked that question at least five times a day!

Don't get me wrong - I don't take offense to it - I just wanted to hear some opinions. And yes, I am asked other questions - in fact, I have a top five list, and "How tall are you?" is #1 on the list, and "How's the weather up there?" is #3!

Because your height is not usual to the average person. Just think of yourself as an exotic individual... ^-^'

I bet you get more annoyed when people ask you "How's the weather up there?" My father was 6'7"
Next time someone asks you how tall you are, just say, "I'm tall enough to ride the roller coaster all by myself" hehe..

I was asked that once by a friendly old lady so I replied with "Why would you want to know?" and she replied that she'd never met a woman 6 foot tall and if I was, she could tell everyone at her bridge game. I told her I hoped she had fun because I am, and she went away happy.

Well, being that tall, you should honestly get used to it. I don't know about anyone else, but I find it amazing to see someone that tall! I don't see it everyday for one and you bet your bottom dollar that I'd ask you the same if I saw you!

My brother had a friend that was 7'2". I remember me even asking how tall her was and then we were in a bar and he was kind of hanging with these girls and they even asked.
When you see someone so tall I think that it's fascinating and you can't help but ask. It just comes out of your mouth. How often do you see someone even over 6'5"?

It's better then being asked "How's the weather up there?"
Don't be defensive--they're just curious and they weren't there when you answered the last person. It's not meant as an insult.

haha I know what you mean...I'm above average height for a female and I get asked that ALLL of the time...
if you find that you are getting asked alot by women then maybe they are using it as an opening line and a means of flirting..
