Today I have been feeling like I have been needing to have a bowel movement, excpet when I go, not much comes out at all. Ad as well, I have been cramping today in my stomach, back and legs. Like I said, I am 37 weeks pregnant. Is this normal? Have you experienced this before? Thanks ahead of time for your answers.

I am not constipated. I can still go and its not painful at all. There is no feeling of needing to push.

I have been having the same thing since 36 weeks prego. I am not 38 and 2 days. You could be in early labor, or your body could just be getting itself ready.

37 weeks isn't too early for labor symptoms. You might be constipated but .. do you just feel the need to push?
Call you OB and see if it would be okay to walk around the block or the store a few times. Maybe your water is about to break?

I experience the same thing! It sucks! LOL
So i would have to say its a normal thing.
When i asked my doctors they told me it is just my body preparing for labor. It doesnt mean you are going into labor so dont rush to the hospital, cause i experienced that kinda pain since i was 34 weeks and im 38 weeks now still experiencing it! No baby yet either! Good luck though hun!

You are probably feeling pressure from the baby dropping lower. If your cramping is mild and there isn't any fluid or blood, I wouldn't worry. However, keep your eyes open for spotting. If your cramps become painful, call your doctor for advice. 37 weeks isn't unusual for labor to begin. I gave birth at 38 weeks and it wasn't even really considered premature. Good luck!!

Some cramping may be caused by a lack of calcium--drink a glass of milk. It sounds like early labor to me, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Sounds to me like the beginning stages of labor. Start timing your cramps (assuming they come and go). Consult your doctor about it.....
Good luck sweetie!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!

You could be in early labor (you'll know pretty soon if you are), constipated and/or dehydrated.
Good luck!
