I was told that acidtone helps your car combust the gas easier. But just a few Ounces to a full tank. Is this true. If not, what could happen

Yes it is true, Acetone will improve your gas mileage, since it breaks down the molecules in gasoline it also causes the fuel to expand as if under heat. The reason that Acetone is not reccomended is there are rubber seals everywhere that will be destroyed by acetone, it may affect the structural integrity of certain plastic gas tanks used on some modern cars and light trucks.

Acetone is extremely flammable and has a high flash point, this would be dangerous to mess with that liquid and a bad idea to try to combust it and ignite it too.

Acetone is a strong solvent that evaporates quickly in air. It is very hard on the seals and gaskets that it comes into contact with and will melt them.

acetone will eat up the rubber in your fuel pump and carb.

do you mean acetone?....the cost of it would certainly out do the savings...never heard of this regardless

iv never heard of acidtone ??? acetone maybe, i would'nt try it
