I'm going to assume that you want this simplified.

a/3xy - b/2yz

=a(2yz)/6x(y^2)z - b(3xy)/6x(y^2)z

=2ayz-3bxy/6xy^2z

=y(2az-3bx)/6xy^2z

=(2az-3bx)/6xyz

You don't have an = or the same dominator, not even the top would come out right.

= 2az/6xyz - 3bx/6xyz = (2az-3bx)/(6xyz)

The common denominator is 6xyz.
