If people have different tastes and find different things interesting then that doesn't explain why certain questions get tons of stars and others don't. And real funny guys, but I'm not fishing for stars here, I'm just interested. But, answer #1 was pretty witty I have to say.

Yeah, but if you ask for stars you get in trouble with Y!A anyways so there's really no point in asking. Besides, what good are they anyways? To stroke your ego or what?

It's obvious that what is important or interesting to you isn't for others. What you can do is give these questions of interest to you your stars. Are stars that important anyway? It just shows things that you find interesting.

It is the "Mood of the day rule" I think.
A question that gets starred on a moaning Monday, might not even get answered on a good ol' raunchy Friday.

I still miss the thumbs thing for questions...stars can seem a bit tacky..

Because most people are lame and any answer that is different, intelligently thought out, spiced with some ribald or dark humor, fails to capture the interest of most of the pedestrian minded people around here.

Pretend like this is the stereotypical midwest and cornfed middle America and that you're from NY or Miami - you think those sort of folk are going to understand you?

howdy, Earth to You: THIS HAS no longer something TO DO WITH faith. once you may state a reason that this is going in faith, i'll retract my assertion. till, of direction, you're relating the actuality that adult adult males worship the Holy P*ssy, wherein case, particular, it belongs in faith. next, ladies are prettier. And we've boobs. And we smell extreme high quality. And we are in basic terms all-around attractive. adult adult males can't face up to us. that is our means. all of us understand we've been given it, so we in basic terms emit our hypnotic girly-rays around the cybernetz. Our substantial purpose at right that's to get extra stars than adult adult males and for this reason emasculate them. final, you won't be getting many stars because of fact your questions lack appropriate spelling and grammar, which makes them very puzzling to study. for this reason, in the journey that your question isn't thoroughly intelligible, you're much less in all probability to get any stars. Peace! :)

It depends on what's on the minds of others and their opinions of what's interesting or not. I like to star the ones I find interesting :)

I was wondering the same thing! It's like the easiest questions get the most stars!

I guess that controversal questions get the most stars.

Just a guess. I never paid much attention to the stars.

PS Ignore the remark about "you are not interesting" from wolfman.

because most people would rather use yahoo as a joke than something serious so they star the funny things and not the serious ones. good luck.

Because the ones that aren't interesting have headlines that attract you in.

Headline; Closest gets 10 points

Person; Ooh..I wonder what I have to guess on.
