There're heaps of different mints to choose from - orange mint, apple mint, chocolate mint, peppermint, pennyroyal. I decided to plant a herb garden two years ago (everything died, of course) and discovered just how wide the range was. But just plain spearmint is the best for mint sauce, I think. Roast lamb and peas with mint sauce - yum!... favouritest of the most favourite. And before anyone says that "favouritest" isn't a word, tough luck - it is now... I've put it in black and white and it's a word because I say it is....... great thing about making up my own words is that no one can criticise the spelling........
