My wife and I are in a little dispute here, can someone help me find proof of the fact that the Beatles have sold more records than Elvis, something other than Wikipedia (my wife for some reason doesnt trust them). Thanks in advance

Everywhere I looked , The Beatles were the top selling album artists, with 106 million, followed in oreder:#2 Garth Brooks 89 million, #3Led Zeppelin 82 million, #4 Elvis 77 million. This data was as of 1999, and only United States sales figures taken into account.I got the info from RIAA, the record place that certifies records as gold and platinum throughout the music industry. I find it hard to believe that led Zeppelin surpassed Elvis when they NEVER had a #1 hit in the states, ever, and they suck!
