Hell yes! And it's not that I'm inarticulate... well sometimes... but I don't think/behave like the "average" person (whatever that means) so when I try to convey an opinion or thought, people automatically jump to conclusions based on a fraction of what I say. Often times they have a hard time following me because of preconceptions that they have about the world and typical human responses. Admittedly though, I sometimes have a habit of speaking stream-of-consciousness that can be hard to follow.

That feels like the story of my life as there are many people who either don't understand where I'm coming from or what I'm saying to them. And it feels as if I have to use a lot of energy trying to explain to them what it is I'm saying or feeling and still there are some people who don't understand and it makes me completely exhausted both mentally and phsyically.

Yes, sometimes I find it hard to make myself understood when explaining stuff. I have a problem coming up with the right words, so I start using my hands to talk, and things get even more confusing. Maybe that's one reason I come here so much, it helps me with my thought processes.

Sometimes this is a problem when you are not actually sure what you are saying or wanting. If you have complete clarity of action, it is much easier to get you point of view across. That being said, I get misunderstood a lot.

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one! I have to explain EVERYTHING. People always take me wrong so now when I say or do anything I just automatically explain myself. There are a few people who look at me and say, " I know." Like, " why are you explaining THAT?" Sometimes it's just not worth it to explain myself so I just say nevermind.

Yes, but it's not that they don't understand my feelings....
I have language problem, my English pronounciation is horrible. I prefer non-verbal communication, less stress, more time to think what you have to say.... and nobody knows I'm Eastern European.

At least once a day, anytime I give my last name. It's only 4 letters but apparently impossible to comprehend.
