For this you want to make every option have the same measurement. And fortunately since this is metric it's really easy.
1km = 1000 m
1m = 1m
1cm = 1/100m
1mm = 1/1000m
So from here the measurements become:
.50m
5m
.0005m
500000m
.01m
And now all you need to do is compare the numbers.

You are a small for sure, however, you have to consider the fabric (the shrinking of cotton and so forth) as well as the brand name. For some reason, designer clothing is less generous and i wouldn't dare order a small. You may also find anything with a waist too short for you. My suggestion is to do some RL shopping first. Even if you don't find what you are looking for, you can try out different brands and see which ones are not only to your taste but consistent. i now have four or five clothing brands i know i can trust and wouldn't hesitate to order on line, but the work is best done in a dressing room first. Good luck.

Don't you want to know HOW to do it too? Yahoo! Answers won't be there in the exam... ;-) And if it is, you'll only be cheating yourself because it won't be there in later life when you need basic maths skills.
Transform each measurement into the same unit, then you can compare the numbers.
It doesn't matter which unit you choose, just be consistent. For example, lets put them all into metres.
So
a) .50 m (already in metres)
b) 5,000 mm = 5 m (1,000 millimetres to 1 metre, so I divided by 1,000)
c) .05 cm = .0005 m (100 centimetres to 1 metre, so I divided by 100)
d) 500 km = 500,000 m (1000 metres to 1 kilometre, so I multiplied by 1,000)
e) 10 cm = 0.1 m (100 centimetres to 1 metre, so I divided by 100)
Now you just need to compare the numbers directly:
a) .50 m
b) 5 m
c) .0005 m
d) 500,000 m
e) 0.1 m
Hence it's d b a e c
