All legitimate background checks, like those done by airport securities or whoever decides to hire you, are done by the government.
There are no "trustworthy" sites. All the records are safely stored away. If you want this check done, you have to get on a police officer's good side and have them do the check for you. I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.
