hes a young iguana broke of his tail what should i do how long will it take for it to grow back

Iguanas will drop their tail as a line of defense. If you grab their tail, its like a bird or other animal has them. Even after the tail drops off, it will continue to move to distract whatever has it. He will not die. Just make sure that the stump of his tail does not show signs of infection. particular they're going to in case you scare them. they're going to drop the tail with a view to get faraway from a Predator. The tail is eaten by ability of a few predators. that is crammed with fat and food. wish this helped some.
