Sachin can handle in individual performance- as a captain he cannot concentrate on team mates as much as dravid or ganguly.

Sachin Tendulkar can not be the indian captain because he is not consequent in his batting. In other words in the first ODI he hits 120 runs and in the second ODI he's out in 15 runs. Sachin is a little unpredictable unlike Mehendra Singh Dhoni or Rahul Dravid, they always score at least a half century.

Sachin cannot become the Indian captain because he is going to get retired and nowadays he is not making good runs.By his face we can understand that he cannot play anymore

B'coz when he was given the captaincy/ship he didn't perform well for India. It is not necessary for all cricketers to be captains. E.g Shane Warne never captained Australia [citation needed].
Secondly, Rahul Dravid is maintaing the captaincy well. and Thirdly, The captaincy should be given to yougsters/younger generations like MS Dhoni (captain of 20-20 squad), Yuvraj Singh (vice-captain of 20-20 squad), Dinesh Karthick or any regular squad-maker.

That time is grouping in the indian team so running time to very usefull player and copretion to Sachine is a very good bowler, batchmen,filder and he is attend to indian captianship and wining to the 20 20 world cup and nex world cup

i'm totally disagree with all the answers...sachin is a genuine batsman and he loves batting...he was not comfortable feeling as a captain bcoz his concentration is distributed b/w batting and captaincy..that's why he himself refused to do so..after leaving captaincy his batting is improved..
his only test hundred during his captaincy is against australia at sydney cricket ground
after leaving captaincy he hitted three centuries in a year

Earlier captaincy had been given to Sachin. But he didn’t do well that time. Also with the captaincy, he was not a successful batsman. Therefore I think selectors have decided to give him more freedom as batsman.

Earlier he was appopinted Captain of Indian Team. However, subsequently he resigned.After that he has not been consideredfor captaincy.
