What if you couldn't get to the kitchen to grab a knife, and you could hear him coming down the hall!?

I am no Coward I would be frightened at first then grab a knife from my room, the ax from the basement, the sledge in the laundry room, knives from the kitchen, or the double bit ax from the shed depending on where I was, if they cross onto my property without permission in the laws it says I can cause bodily harm, and guess what I WILL!

First of the best thing to do is not to panic then call the police and if you can find away to get out of the house! If you can not do that hide somewhere that you can lock like a room so that they can't get in. DO NOT CONFRONT THEM! this may seem a good idea at first, but you have no idea what your up against and you can get hurt! And if for some sick reason you do have a gun, don't use it unless your life depends on it. I don't think you want to go to jail.

We live in a condo with a security system. But if I could get at him,
I would beat the snot out of him with my cane. I wouldn't show him
mercy. He's on my property and deserves everything he gets. Too
bad we can't keep a Shepherd mix. One block over someone broke
into a house and left a trail of blood to the next house he was about
to rob. The joke was on him---both houses had German Shepherds
and they had him for lunch.
Unfortunately in a Condo there is no place to hide and only one way
out---the front door.

Hide? I'd slit their throat from ear to ear and watch them slowly bleed to death. I have a blade in EVERY room of my place and one or two on me at all time. Then after I breathed in their last breath of life, I'd call the authorities and play victim. If by some small chance I didn't have a blade, I have my hands. I would cripple them and watch them suffer for a while before notifying the authorities. They may live, but the pain they would endure would be excruciating. I should be so lucky.

Inside the kitchen cabinets with my cell phone to call the cops. Of course I would hide with a knife or some kind of weapon.

None of the above. I would be a good subject of the royal Crown of England and happily give him all my valuables and let him take the pick of my daughters and let him kill my wife. The reason is that if I resist and fight back, the government will throw me in prison for self-defence. In Socialist Britian, the squatters and criminals have more rights than the honest people who pay outrageous taxes to support this government.

LOL, HIDE, LOL. Well he/she better hope and pray the cops get him before I do. I do have several guns, And I have NO problem using it. Oh just so you'll know, (not that it matters) I have in the past used my gun shooting at someone. Yes, He was caught by the cops as I did shoot his car, the woosie was running away, and NO, I haven't seen him since. LOL, I kinda get a kick out of it all. And for GOLDILOCKS, I own bout 6 pistols. Yes all registered, and I am licensed for personel protection as well as property. And YES I am that good of a shoot. I will hit what I am shooting at.

Actually, before he could even finish breaking in, I'd already be out the back door jumping over the fence & ringing my neighbor's doorbell so I could go in & call 911. There's no place to hide in my house, so I'd have to make a quick run for it & pray real hard while I'm runnin.

I wouldn't hide, where I am right now, there is a door to exit. If someone came in that door, I'm by the stairs, to run out the front door. Or I guess I could hide in the cabinet by my computer.

I am not programmed to hide. I would get to my kitchen, get my little friend, and turn ECW, wild, crazy, bloody nuts and NOT wait to be found. There's no referee, and no rules. Going nuts always works, and survives. I have already been the victim of violence before, and am not affraid now to do what is necessary.
