Same thing happened to me! I think that it probably a new pregnancy because i am now pregnant again only after 4 weeks of miscarriage I tested positve also. I didn't think that I had time to ovulate either but I did I was told that right after a miscarrige you are very fertile. The hcg only stays in your body for 2 weeks at the most
congrats and good luck!!

It depends on how far along your pregnancy was when miscarriage or termination occurred. If it is under 8 weeks, it should have cleared your body by now. However, there is a current theory that other hormones that aren't measured take longer to leave (based on the higher rate of miscarriages immediately following a miscarriage or termination). You always ovulate before a period, so it wouldn't be surprising if you hadn't have your period yet. Congratulations!

It totally depends. If you terminated your pregnancy that means that they cleaned everything out, that makes the process go a little quicker. My first miscarriage was left up to nature to "get rid of" and it took about 6 weeks. My second miscarriage ended with a DNC and my doctor told me that it was normal for it to take up to 8 weeks to get back to normal. The hormones could still be there. But you can get pregnant as soon as the following cycle so I would definitely call my OB if I were you.

I had this happen twice. I MC at 10 weeks and one at 6 weeks my levels did not drop until I have my 1st real period. After a MC you will bleed for a little bit and then stop. After you stop when you start bleeding again is when you have started your 1st cycle after the MC. This can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks depends how high your levels were. On my 1st one it took about 5 weeks and on my 2nd one it took only a week. I really hope this helped you out.

It could still be in your system. You could call your doctor to be sure. I'd act like you're pregnant (drinking, smoking, medications, etc) just in case then retest in a few weeks. Good luck!

i think there is a chance of that but you should really wait to try to conceive again atleast until after your period starts.
