Going along with your ex might just ruin your holiday. You are there to have fun and not soak into each others problems. Go to the one you love. Throw away the past forever. Look for a brighter future. If problems occur, you know that good friends will always be by your side. :-)x
The Gentleman, is willing to take you on a holiday. Sadly, he's schedule is fully booked right now. Excuse me, my flight to Spain is calling......

Well, as it happens, my ex and I get along quite nicely and I think that would work out perfectly fine for us. I realize that a lot of people could not do this though.
I would totally go along if something were already planned, although it could get a bit weird if it was supposed to be something really romantic or something like that.
As far as rathering to be with the person I love now...well...that would have to be myself I guess, cuz I don't have someone at the moment...and I am fine with that.
So assuming that you are asking this question because you are actually in the situation yourself, you will have to decide whether or not you think you could get along with your ex for 2 weeks AND whether or not your current flame would be able to handle you running off on a trip with your ex.
It all depends on the specifics!

It depends on different factors, sucha as:
- If I am going out with someone that I just met few days ago, I would go with my ex.
- If I love someone else, now, I would go with her/him, instead. If I love him/her, why would I go with my EX!?
- If I want to have an 'affair', my EX!
If she, in my case, want to go with me, probably something is going to happen, so, if I want the problem, I go for it. If not, I change destination, lose the money, or change partner.
And by this time, you should know the answer. If you love the new one, go with him, not the old one.
In Mexico, we have a saying:
"Chancla que he de tirar, no la he de recoger"
"The sandal that I already threw away, I will not pick it up back!"

Going will only bring up old emotions and leave the opportunity for trouble. How long was the trip planned? Have your new love pay and go with you!

I would surely go.
The person I love now has nothing to fear about.
I would let my ex alone enjoying himself .
It would be like I had a cruise on my own.
