Okay, my brother has ADHD and takes medication to calm him down. I'm the complete opposite and take vitamins just to keep myself awake. Anyway, today I think (since the pills look very alike) that we accidently switched them and now I'm wiped out because technically the medication is slowing me down . . . and my brother's overly hyper. Can this somehow kill me? That is, if we did switch. If we didn't, then I'm just having another off-day . . .

Okay, he takes 15 mg . . . I think! I still feel a little nutty and paranoid- so i've got 2 get some rest . . . lol!

Well. Depends how much you took. Also depends how strong they are. If you were conscious enough and still alive without being shipped to the hospital you probably got a small dose. First, tell you parents and go to the doctors or sumthin. I don't think it s anythin serious because usualy the calm down things for people with ADHD is some kind of really small sedatives (like sleeping gas its just injected and is a drug). Oh yeah everyones gonna die sumday so i would worry about what we could accomplish while im alive instead about worrying about death. :P

Of course not! You will not die. If you still feel slowed down tomorrow, then maybe you should call a doctor. But no worries, medication given to ppl with ADHD is not supposed to kill them nor others that take it by mistake.

most Adhd and add pills work as a depressant type drug kids with out the conditions take them to feel stoned. So you may feel funny but I doubt you will die. Of course it depends on how many mg you took

If this happens more than once, yes, it can possibly kill you.
I think you were having an off day. I think you should make sure you keep your vitamins in your room because this will make you aware that there is no way that you pills will get mixed up.

OMG. No your not going to die. Just lay of any type of pill for the next couple of days. And give your brother the right medication right away.

Hi Walking, I think you will be alright but if you would feel better about the whole thing see your doctor. Be careful about getting you and your brothers pills mix up.

Call the doc's office and ask. I know someone whose son took brain seizure medication, he went to the emergency room but aside from being about 5 minutes behind in everything, he was fine.

you'll be fine just dont worry about it that could cause a panic attach...some people take those pill as a drug to get high and no ones dieing from that so i'm sure u'll be fine.

I seriously doubt that. A single mistake usualy isn't consitered something that could kill you. Just watch your brother.
