Every major loss of life in Iraq, that I can recall, has been caused by suicide bombers, or non-domestic terrorists. Why are there so many people acting as if our forces are responsible for killing innocent Iraqis?

I'm just in awe of how liberals refuse to answer a question... What the hell does: "You're a fool if you think every insurgent in Iraq is a terrorist" have to do with this question?

Because Democrats now support the Insurgents and Terrorists.
Democrats consider us the Bad Guys, and the Insurgents & Terrorists as the "poor innocents".

One (1) innocent iraqi is too many.

One (1) innocent america solider is too many.

I have not been to Iraq during this war to see firsthand, but I'd be willing to bet that AT LEAST ONE person on both sides has been directly killed by the other. My point is that one person is too many. We have invaded their country ... do you expect that they would not try to defend it ?

Why don't people get it ... this war is about money / power . The government gives us spin and progranda about why we are fighting this war. we feel all good, loyal and patriotic here at home while some soldier flies home in a coffin with a flag on an airplane . do you really think his kids will get a lot of economic or personal support without their dad ? do they really care that he was a "war hero " ?

On the flip side of it this is no good for the iraqi people, the iraqi's have been brainwashed by their own government too. Imagine the horror of an iraqi wife and kids that no longer have a dad / husband to support them since he's dead. keep in mind this is a middle east country where she, the wife/mother , will not have a skill set to support herself and is not a prime candidate to get remarried so she can be supported.

I ask you to think about the innocence of both the american and iraqi people and the corrupt side that the government is on. As a global citizen, you have a responsibility to think, learn, investigate. Don't just buy into hype / media and all that nonsense about american pie. Things are not good. This is a complicated war / it was complicated then and it's going to get more complicated. We , have no control over our President and being able to stop this. Most Americans do not support this / the approval ratings of the President are not high. The checks / balances do not seem to be working ??? I'm concerned.

People like YOU are simply morally bankrupt.

The simple fact is that had the war monger Bush and the terrorist state called the US had not waged an ILLEGAL war of choice based upon a pack of filthy bloody lies ,these 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQI civilians would still be alive today .

Bush's and the neo-cons beligerence, ignorance ,stupidity failed to realize what most of the rest of the world did and that was that if the US warred against Iraq it would set off a series of events that would be as horrid as it has turned out to be.

The vile war monger Bush has turned a TERRORIST FREE Iraq into a TERRORIST haven where now local insurgents along with al qaeda are waging a CIVIL WAR thanks to the bloody US opening up Pandora's Box !!!

Aside from being DIRECTLY responsible for this slaughter of civilians, the US military has tortured thousands of prisoners and killed at least 40 prisoners.

The US atrocity in Iraq makes them as accountable/responsible /culpable for these 400,000 plus slaughter of innocent Iraqi civiliansc as I would be if I threw 10 children into a den of pedophiles .

I realize that you being so morally bankrupt ,you won't even understand this analogy .

No go peddle your sacriledge elsewhere !!!!

For the most part the soldiers have been unbelievable with regards to keeping civilian deaths to a minimum (they're fighting people dressed like civilians in the cities, it's difficult if not impossible not to accidentally hurt or kill innocent people).

The bad press is from the rare occurrences where a few soldiers have either raped or murdered people for no justifiable reason. I'm not saying American soldiers are evil, but there's been a few bad apples that have tarnished the images of the rest of those brave men and women.

Support the troops, not the war (in Iraq), until they can come back home.

In the beginning of the war our first 50 or so "smart bombs" all missed their targets. These bombs were aimed for targets in and around civilian populated areas. So guess what, when they miss, they don't miss by much and we were and still are responsible for innocent Iraqi deaths.

You are a big fool if you think the US military hasn't made a single mistake resulting in innocent deaths in this war.

Pat Tilman ring a bell? He was one of our own and we mistakenly killed him. Now change the scenario to a Iraqi citizen who gets ZERO news coverage. You're as ignorant as they come if you think it's never happened.

Last year Bush put the Iraqi civilian death toll at around 60k people.

Most independent estimates have the civilian casualty level at somewhere between 200 to 500k, though the White house only claims 30k. Even if the current administration is telling the truth, thats 30,000 civilian lives at the hands of US forces.

They are killing innocents. No doubt about it.
This disturbs some, but recruiting standards are so low they are now offering convicted felons, more prison? or time in Iraq? Plus large recruiting comes from the Philippines and impoverished countries with the promise of U.S. citizenship after 7 years of service.
Does not help the those at the very top do not care about them, that shows, plus the fact they don't know how to identify the enemy.
VEITNAM all over again...Mary.

Innocents in Iraq? What innocents? Weren't they the ones dancing in the streets on 9/11 when we took it up the a$$ ! All of them men women and children!
Weren't they the ones dragging dead Americans through the streets and hanging them on a bridge? All of them men women and children!
So where do you get there is any innocents in Iraq?
What we really need over there is a couple of Generals like Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse! Give that whole bunch the Gen. Custer 7th Cavalry look!

in case you weren't a coward you may connect the militia and omit there your self. in case you went over there you may see how plenty we are helping them. they have been in a civil conflict for over one thousand years. we at the instant are not exhibiting them something they have not seen, different than compassion. They throw their young ones out in front of moving autos to get them to give up so that they could rob them. each and all the coolest human beings understand what we are doing over there and help us.

You're a fool if you think every insurgent in Iraq is a terrorist. What would we call Iraqis that are fighting us, trying to force us to leave their homeland?
