Letterman shouldn't even be in the same list as those others. He is the current king of latenight, just like Johnny Carson wanted. Leno may have gotten the tonight show, but Letterman got the title

Letterman is in a class by himself. He's the best.
Oprah - unique, entertaining, interesting
Ellen - funny
Conan - funny (can't wait for him to take over Tonight SHow)

I am 51 and I guess I'm still old school. I like David Letterman he fits with what I like. He has done his show the same way all the time. he has had characters on from time to time but I like the stuff he does with Rupert (the deli guy)

i've only heard of ellen and oprah i like them both but ellen is the best she is so funny and oprah has nice stories

Jay Leno He's the late night King so funny and simple Oprah is for girls so yea
