No, not a rain tree because the forest is all gone if all the other trees have been hewn.
Crayola decides the names for the crayons. A few years ago they had a contest open to all when they decided to rename some of the colors.

No, for the first question. And, the company of Crayola has a team that sits there and decides what name that would be easily remeber for the base color of what they are making or just made.

2. Crayola, Roseart, or whatever the company is that makes the crayons.
Though I do recall a contest Crayola had where someone got to create and name a new color, and the color was Macaroni and Cheese. :P
