Full agree. And Scott F. of course everybody thought it would be a cake walk, the president said so. Remember him lying and saying we would be greeted as liberators? What a load.

The soldiers are not at all to blame for the failing in Iraq. It is no longer to help the people there-it is for the oil and to benefit the rich. The under equipping or soldiers is not much different then failing Katrina victims in their time of need. What right does the Administration have to ignore the "people" and ignore their elected representatives who are calling for this war to be ended? I understand that popularity is not essential to govern-but enough is enough!

Soldiers are part of the policies, and as usual they are told to take whatever they get in the way of training, arms, ammo and gear and tough if it's too old, too worn out or doesn't work. Then they see their buddies killed and no way to get the responsible persons, so they lose it. And, guess what? If they lose it badly enough, they get sent home, where they get no help dealing with these things. Don't we have a wonderful President?

Uh, its urban warfare. You thought it was going to be a cake-walk? It is practically impossible to win against urban warfare without commiting genocide.
