Apparently, each clover leaf symbolizes a certain quality just as one would pick the petals on a daisy:
Leaf one: hope
Leaf two: faith
Leaf three: love
Leaf four: luck

I can't find a reference for what the fifth leaf would stand for, however. Nevertheless, I have seen web-posted photos of five and even six leaf clovers.

Then 6 leaved clovers are luckier than 5 leaved ones? =O

No. No clovers are luckier than any other. Some are rarer in different parts of the world, but none will do anything to change your luck.

I'm sure that, if you found one AND preserved the 5-leaf clover, you'd be VERY lucky if you could market the oddity AND yourself AND your ownership of the oddity effectively.

I do not know, but I do know you are supposed to give a 4 leaf cover to someone to double your luck.
