So this is kind of confusing me.. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on the tenth, which was the day before I was scheduled to start my period. So I started my period the next day with more cramps and nausea than normal, in addition they lasted almost double as long. It's now the 16th and I feel tired, and sick to my stomach but without any real vomiting. I only feel sick when I do things like lie on my side or pull my knees to my chest. I've heard that if you conceive right before your period you can still have it, is this true? And if so could I be pregnant?

Sex the day before your period will rarely ever get a woman pregnant. The egg is no longer good at this point, and you wouldn't be ovulating for at least another week, more like 2 weeks, and the sperm would be long gone by then.

It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant from unprotected sex the day before your period. You would not have been ovulating then.
