ok, my condo is at the coast, has a sliding glass door that stays open all day, and then theres the front door thats pretty heavy, and since were at the coast, the winds pick up, so when we go through the front door, regardless of the slider being open, slams shut real fast, today it slammen on my finger and it hurt real bad. we need to know what we can do about that door. maybe a door stop? i need ideas!

there is always wind, its the beach! we tested the door yesterday and it slams shut even if the slider is shut.

a door stop is a good idea! maybe just something that is like a door stop, just something that could keep it open, maybe... i dont know, just something really heavy, a chair maybe! good luck! : )

easy: close the window when the winds pick up, so the door isn't being slammed shut by the wind that goes through to the window.
I don't think there's a door stopper good enough to keep the heavy door from slamming shut

try a door closer like the ones on screen and storm doors and there's also closing spring hinges
