The point of sites like MySpace and Facebook are for networking, although a lot of people treat it like a popularity contest.

But if you think thats bad, try downloading the "honesty box" application. It allows your friends to anonymously post comments about you, so then you'll know their true feelings, I gotta say, I'm afraid to find out, so I havent added it.

Facebook is just a website. Its not the site thats making you have low confidence, its yourself. If you feel unpopular because of the amount of friends that you have, ADD MORE PEOPLE. Its really simple. A website shouldnt be blamed for your lack of confidence. I have a facebook and I dont have alot of friends on it, yet Im very confident in almost everything I do.

It does in many ways so then you feel like you need to accomplish something and they take advantage of that and manipulate people to extends of implement
