The Circle is a series of infinitessimal straight lines which continally change direction forming a rotation of 360 degrees angle relative to a common point(the Center of the Circle).
To Calcuate the number of side of this quasi infinte polygon, it is needed to determine the lenght of the infinitesimal straight line.Then divide the circumference by that value to obtain the answer.

Drawing a circle by any method usually results in a three dimensional form with a topside, bottomside and circumferential side (think thickness of the drawing medium). The exception is drawing a circle in a computer graphics program where the object is projected in two dimensions. In which case, there is only the frontside or visible side.

a perfect circle has one side, but a perfect circle is next to impossible to make, so most have a very very very large number of sides, try drawing a circle in paint on your pc, then zoom in really close, you will see what i mean
