Whats so great about school?

Question

My reasons why:
We have to wake up at 6 or 7 in the morning and we leave at 3 or 4 in the afternoon,
Why can't we go to school a little later, who wants to go to school in the morning,
I have 7 evil teachers and they keep on screeming so much that their breath stinks,
The food is nasty,
The stupid coaches keep screeming at me,
The weather is is 100 degress and who let you go to school for that kind of wheather,
We have to learn stupid subject like science, I'm not a sceintest and I hate science,
I can't stand all the students becuase their annoying,
The principal don't do nothing and he just lazy,
Its hot in the classroom,
They give you alot of pointless homework,
I'm bored,
The bathroom is dirty and scary,
The stuff we learn is stupid,
Who wants to go school anyway?
School is a waste of time,
Who ever invented is school is extra stupid,
I rather pick up garbage as a job then going to school of torture.
I want a job, a job is way funner than boring ugly school.

hope you got some real good smarts in that head of yours if your thinking about dropping out. which by the way would be really stupid. the majority of your life your going to have to get up to go to work at God only know's what time or what shift. and work in God only know's what kind of conditions. working at God only know's what kind of a job.

alot of kids....even myself feel or felt pretty much that way too about school...hated it thought it was a waste of time.

i don't know what grade your going into but alls i can try to help you with in dealing with all this "school" stuff your hating is to try very hard to see something positive in it. try to make the most out of what you have to do which is go to school. its not going to last forever so you need to figure out what you can do to make your life better while your there. nothing good ever comes out of being negative....have you learned that yet? well trust me, its true. so why not get what you can from these loud lazy screamin smelly teachers. why not get into what your being taught and when your in class such as science get into it and learn something. hell worse thing that could happen is you might find out you like something about it. keep your mind closed just because something sucks isn't going to get you very far in life....trust me. you want to challenge and question sh*t all your life. this is your world this is your life......if you let them wear you down now what are you going to be like when your out in the real world.
Sorry....to come across like an "older" person or preachy....but I am an older person......and i do know the hardships that you might have to face when you do get out on your own it will make school look like friggin kindergarden at times. Stay in school and try to forget all the bullsh*t going on around you and focus on yourself and learning some stuff in the meantime. Good Luck Oh and by the way maybe you should enonoumously print this letter up and send it to your lazy a*s principal maybe it might wake him up to how some of his students are feeling about the school he's trying to run. Just a thought.

just wait until you get out into the real world. you work a minimum of 40 hours a week, they take taxes out of your wages, you work 50 weeks out of the year ( for the first year or two perhaps 51 ) then after all this you have to pay the rent, utilities, credit card payments, car loan, buy groceries and hope you have enough money to last until the next paycheck. after starting to work at a job if you are the last person hired and the company has a slack period of time you're laid off.

none of us say that school is easy, but then you need to look at the alternatives. life is a lot easier if you get an education and have a diploma to help you gain a better paying position. the more wisdom and knowledge you obtain the better and easier your life will be.

nothing is great about school

1. i have to wake up early in the morning
2. i am in college so i don't have classes continuously - i have 2 classes then a 2 hour break, then another 2 classes....and the worst are the days when i have only one class and i have to go there for just one damn class
3. the teachers are dumb - it's hard to like school when the teacher knows less than you. and the ones that know, are too stuck up to care about you
4. this is not related directly to school - i don't eat healthy because i'm always on the run and i don't live in my own house (=> i can't cook, i can't do certain stuff...). you are lucky cause you get to eat, you have the same program 6/7am -3/4 pm...i sometimes have classes from 8 am to 8 pm with 10 minutes break between each class...so no eating for me
5. i have 6 evil teachers, 3 that are supposed to teach me useful things and 3 that fill my head with useless theoretical stuff that i'm never gonna use (i am in math and computers and the 3 are from math)...i have 3 lab assistants and 2 of them usually don't know zitch about the language i'm supposed to program in...and i have 6 seminar teachers who are good in math problems, but suck in things i'm supposed to learn (it's the damn system)
6. the weather is horrible wherever you go
7. i have a secretary that refuses to do her job
8. they don't give homework, though...only projects and god damned exams...
9. bathroom is dirty here too...i don't use it much...sometimes to wash my hands but that's all...it looks like a freakin war zone

the good part about school is that i meet my friends and we can have fun there - movies, stand up comedy, concerts, dancing... and besides, i don't feel guilty for not doing nothing. cause it's the system.

ps: sport isn't mandatory so far...thank goodness, or i had to excuse myself again (i do however have the opportunity to choose what sport i wanna practice...but the grade doesn't help me with anything and there are no credits=> why waste 20 hours/semester for that?...i can sleep or eat then)

Dude stop your whining,
Honestly if school really annoys you that much drop out.
And im not suggesting you should because having an education can get you places.
Im in highschool, i pretty much have the same day schedule as you, i get up at 6 get out at 3. Just try to make the best of it. Like your friends and stuff.

Where do you live? I live in Florida and its 100 degrees here too! There isnt a single thing on that list that I dont agree with! Thats exactly what i think of evury morning when i go to school! I hate school! It's gotta be the closest thing to hell on earth.

if people didn't go to school the world would be far uglier than what you say about school. i don't like school but i know it's neccessary. that's where you make friends and get a lead on life instead of ending up as a garbage man. i'd rather live in a world with school than without because without, the world would be a hellzone.

Trust and believe, you're gonna look back when you're like 28 and wish to god that you were still in school. Life is hard man and without an education, it's hell.

wow those are some strong words....they are so awesome!!i feel the same way.some teachers are so old they forget who they are.the only reason I'm doing good in school and stuff is cuz my parents will send me to boot camp if i mess up again.but you should find a way to entertain your self at school.i do that and it works.i take my ipod and listen to my music and chill.i take some chips to eat at lunch and chill by my self everyone at my school is stupid and kiddish.but just cuz school is boring doesn't mean you can't be in your own world.if you can find me on yahoo answers I'll tell all my secrets on how to survive boring old school.

Think about it, where would you rather work, Burger King, or at a fine office and get paid like 50,000 times more!

Because you get to learn the things that you need to know.
And I being a Mom and already have done the school thing, like to get a break during the day to get other things done!
When you get older, you'll understand why school is so important!
